And Stylist Live ticket giveaway
Hello, hello! We meet again.
Happy Sunny Sunday - I hope you're keeping well? I'm writing to you on a crisp Autumn day of glorious blue skies
There have been a lot of exciting things going on behind the scenes at LUXTRA over the past weeks and months, and I'm excited to be able to reveal the first of them to you today.

FUNDRAISING
Loyal readers amongst you may recall when, a few months back, I discussed some of my thoughts on fundraising in my newsletter entitled “to raise or not to raise”. My conclusion at that time was to continue to grow LUXTRA organically.
Many things have changed in my life - and in the wider world - since then, which has now lead me to a different conclusion.
To speak plainly: At present I'm in the final stages of LUXTRA's “family and friends” round, with 80% of funds secured (woo hoo!). I wanted to open the fundraise up to you, our lovely customers and readers, in case you were interested investing in the future of sustainable and cruelty-free fashion. We've been making really good progress with the brand and I'm really excited by the plans we have for the company.
Please get in touch if you'd like to receive the pitch deck: simply hit reply to this email and introduce yourself. 😊

TICKETS TO STYLIST LIVE
What are you up to on Friday 11, Saturday 12 and/or Sunday 13 November ? If you're in London make sure you come and see LUXTRA at STYLIST LIVE: a festival of all the very best shopping, celebrity talks, panel discussions, fashion shows, plus delicious food and drink to top it all off.
We have 2 free tickets to give away, so if you'd like to go in the running to win them, simply reply to this email and let us know your favourite B Corp (apart from LUXTRA, obvs!) and why. We'll announce the winners next in the next newsletter.

VEGAN RESTAURANT: ALTER
This week I had dinner at ALTER - a plant-based restaurant near Aldgate in east London. It was delicious and beautifully presented. I loved the Chengdu street tofu with sichuan broth. Normally I'm very suspicious of rice-based desserts (they seem so boring) but I was knocked off my chair by the kesar mango sweet sticky rice with lime.
The restaurant was full and buzzy on a Tuesday night and I can safely that non vegans will love it too. Do go if you can!

BINDI PIC OF THE WEEK
And on a final happy note, this is Bindi, my family's border collie, living her best life on the beach in Queensland, Australia. My sister shared an article about how working dogs need both physical and mental stimulation, so we're doubling down on our efforts to keep Bindi entertained and challenged.
